A Spiritual Advisory Studio

For leaders whose map no longer matches the terrain

There's a particular kind of leader who finds their way to us. Too normal for the spiritual spaces. Too spiritual for normal ones.

You might recognize yourself as:

The leader who has outgrown their own success— You built what you set out to build. The milestones are real. But somewhere in the process, something shifted — and you've started to notice that the life you built no longer fits the person you're becoming.

The high performer whose inner life is running on empty— You're good at the outer game. Decisions, strategy, execution — these come naturally. But somewhere along the way the inner life got quiet, and you've started to notice the cost.

The leader at a threshold they can't think their way through — You've applied your best thinking to this. Read the books, done the work, talked to smart people. And you're still stuck — not because you lack intelligence, but because this particular crossing requires something other than analysis.

The leader who left the framework but kept the questions — Maybe it was religion. Maybe it was a company, a movement, an identity. Whatever it was, you've moved on — but the deeper questions didn't go anywhere. You're still asking them. You just don't have a container for them anymore.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

There are three ways to work with Field Guide.

Intuitive Guidance with Kim. Spiritual Direction with Justin. And Soul x Strategy, a two-part experience with both of us, for moments that call for the full arc.

Each is complete on its own. Together, they form a path.

Reflections from those who’ve experienced it firsthand.

“Justin & Kim challenge the notion that there's always work to be done — a to-do list, a roadmap, a playbook. They gave me an opportunity to experience the catharsis I needed and let whatever came up just integrate. This kind of presence and connection is more powerful than ever. People need it, even if they don't exactly know what that is yet.”

— Maggie | Human Design Strategist

"On paper, everything was going according to plan, but underneath the facade of corporate success, I knew something was off. I was working hard toward an outdated goal, and it was depleting me. In a single conversation with Justin and Kim, I gained more insight than from all the podcasts, books, and self-help content combined. I can now confidently move forward into this next season of life."

— Darragh | Head of Social, Microsoft Advertising

"From the moment we met, Justin and Kim made me feel completely at ease. They asked thoughtful questions that helped me explore my inner desires on a deeper level, almost like weaving together threads of insight and possibility for the life I want to step into. I left feeling empowered to live more fully in alignment with who I am, and I've been raving about this experience to friends ever since."

— Keely | Integrative Health Coach

"Soul & Strategy expanded my spiritual foundation in a fresh, grounded, and deeply personal way. It helped me connect more intentionally with myself, my environment, and the deeper mystery woven through life, drawing out a greater awareness of my soul in ways that felt both meaningful and true. Empowering, thoughtful, and deeply enriching."

— Seth | Mortgage Lender & Investor, NAF

Meet Your Field Guides

Justin Almas

Former executive pastor. Trained spiritual director. Leadership coach. I spent two decades inside the frameworks and institutions that shape how leaders think about meaning, purpose, and identity — and then navigated my own transition out of them. That experience is the foundation of this work. I accompany leaders through the kind of inflection points that require more than a new strategy — the ones that ask something deeper. To slow down. To listen to your life. I live in Golden, Colorado, with my wife and two kids, where you'll find me coaching kids’ sports, chasing trout, or somewhere on a trail.

Kim Knievel

Communications strategist turned intuitive leadership guide. For 15 years I built narratives for brands like Microsoft, Under Armour, and Vans — learning how to move people, shape perception, and translate vision into language that lands. Alongside that career I spent a decade in serious study of intuitive technologies, energetic intelligence, and the Akashic Records — developing a different kind of precision that most leaders are taught to dismiss until it becomes the thing limiting everything else. I work with founders and leaders who are ready to lead from the inside out. I live in Denver with my husband and two boys, still getting our bearings after a cross-country move and loving every minute of it.

How We Got Here

We came to this work from different directions.

Justin spent two decades inside religious institutions — earning a master's degree from seminary, training in spiritual formation, serving as a pastor and executive leader. He was a true believer in the containers that had shaped him. Those communities gave him a language for the inner life, a framework for meaning, and a tremendous sense of purpose. And then, slowly and then all at once, they stopped fitting. The life he was living no longer fit the person he was becoming, so he left in search of a life that did.

Kim spent two decades inside corporate institutions — building narratives for some of the world's most recognizable brands, climbing, achieving, delivering. She was good at it. But alongside that career she was quietly doing a different kind of work — studying intuitive intelligence, learning to trust what couldn't be measured, developing a skillset that her industry had no category for. The success was real. But it wasn't the whole story.

Different roads. Same destination.

We both arrived at the same question: where do you take the deeper, most important parts of your life when the containers that used to hold them no longer fit?

We didn't find a great answer. What we found instead were other people asking the same thing — leaders, parents, high achievers — in school pickup lines, on soccer sidelines, at the local park. Capable, thoughtful people carrying timeless questions they didn't know where to take.

So we built the thing we wish existed. Field Guide is a spiritual advisory studio for people navigating exactly that terrain — grounded enough for the skeptic, spiritual enough for the seeker, and built by two people who are living the transition themselves, in real time.
